Reference consultations are available to any member of the Cornell community. A librarian will schedule an appointment with you to discuss your needs, and can:
- Provide assistance in selecting the best resources for your subject area
- Suggest strategies for searching databases
- Assist in finding government documents and/or statistical resources
- Help you identify and locate primary sources
- Develop your research strategies or evaluate your library research process to date
- Help you search the internet for relevant and reliable information
- Explain how to access material held by other libraries
